Quality Policy

Tectubi Raccordi S.p.A. has a long history. Founded in 1954, it joined the Allied Group in 2003 and was the first Italian manufacturer of steel butt weld fittings.

It has since achieved a leading position in both the Italian and international markets and serves as a benchmark for the entire pipe fitting and elbow sector. The company meets the combined needs of oil and gas pipelines, shipyards, and chemical, thermal, and nuclear plants.

Tectubi Raccordi is committed to always maintaining the highest quality standards, particularly regarding nuclear safety. The company has adopted a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 19443 and ASME BPVC Sec. III NCA standards.

Promoting nuclear safety culture involves improving individual behaviour, process effectiveness and respect for ethical and social values. A suitable environment is provided for processes to function and comply, considering human and physical factors.

Top Management considers personnel, facilities and customers to be three strategic assets that shall always be involved in improvement and satisfaction processes. This can only be achieved by confirming the commitment to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and to ensuring customer satisfaction, while never compromising nuclear safety for the sake of other priorities.

In particular, the Top Management of Tectubi Raccordi is committed to ensuring the following on an ongoing basis:

• A corporate strategy that is aligned with objectives and resources, supported by innovation and a focus on the effectiveness of operational processes;
• Compliance with laws, Standards and Codes, industry-specific rules and regulations, contracts and technical requirements with high quality standards;
• A management system that pays close attention to identifying, reporting and correcting conditions that may pose a risk to nuclear safety. This system also keeps detailed records of non-conformities, corrective actions and lessons learned;
• Informed decision-making processes that pay attention to worker and product safety, as well as the possible consequences for nuclear safety;
• Continuous training that ensures staff have the best technical skills, and that commits to ensuring they are trained and constantly updated on issues relating to nuclear safety culture and the maintenance of appropriate and ethical behaviour;
• Integration of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles to achieve environmental, social and governance sustainability.

The Top Management defines the activities necessary to achieve these objectives and provides the resources required to implement the policy and maintain the quality management system. Management appoints the Quality System Manager to supervise and independently manage all aspects related to Nuclear Safety and Quality.

The Top Management is committed to sharing this policy with all relevant stakeholders and updating it regularly to ensure it aligns with regulations and the expectations of these stakeholders. They will also make timely additions in the event of any changes.
